Throughout his 26 years in the entertainment industry, Rick Colen (R.C.) has become a  favorite among all ages for his mischievous mind and creativity. He began his career as a graduate of Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus Clown University and toured worldwide with them throughout the early 1980s. He is comfortable in many charismatic roles and performing environments.

Also known as Sunshine the Clown and Shadow the Mime, Rick immediately engages his audience by inviting guests up to the stage to assist him with his magical antics and is known for his machete juggling over a daring audience member. R.C. is also a featured performer at Chicago’s Navy Pier, where he ignites the crowds with his fire-eating and fire-juggling maneuvers. In addition, R.C. has evolved into a stellar Groucho Marx and Charlie Chaplin impersonator, featured at many trade show and corporate events.

As the founder and owner of Let's Clown Around Productions, Rick provides versatile character performances and employs other dynamic entertainers including unicycling, acrobatics and duet presentations. His enthusiasm and interest in performing for a variety of markets is increasingly evident, as he is a favorite among local companies such as IBM, Abbott Labs, Baxter Corp, and City Festivals. Rick is always honored to demonstrate his diverse abilities and talents.
